Dear authors, In addition to corporate information about the companies in the field, Mining and Geology magazine publishes the following materials:

            • Editorials commissioned by the editorial board
            • Original articles;
            • Short scientific messages
            • Review articles
            • information on scientific forums
            • present ation and review of new books
            • celebrating the anniversaries of prominent scientists and organizations

    We bring to your attention the terms of the editorial on the materials that you will submit for the publication of the pages of Mining and Geology magazine

                    • Articles should be relevant to the subject matter of the journal and address important scientific, production, and technical issues, technological and economic problems.
                    •  Keep the title accurate, clear and concise.
                    •  Article size should be no more than 12 pages (30 lines of 60 characters; 1800 characters per page), incl. figures, photos and tables.
                    •  On the first page, under the title, should be stated the two names of the authors, their scientific degrees and titles, their place of employment, e-mail address, telephone.
                    • Articles must be submitted with an author’s summary in Bulgarian and English of up to 200 words, including in general the purpose, the methods used, the results obtained and the conclusions of the material.
                    • The summary is followed by a maximum of 7 keywords in Bulgarian and English.
                    •  We recommend authors, if possible, to frame their articles in sections and with separate subheadings. For example – introduction, goals, methods, technique, technology, results, discussion, conclusions.
                    • Attached tables and figures should be cited at the appropriate place in the text. Tables should be titled and figures and photos should be accompanied by an appropriate explanation.
                    • Graphics should be of high resolution (300 dpi) and in accordance with the dimensions in which they will be published (17.5 cm wide). It is also recommended to submit them separately in one of the following file formats: tiff, jpeg, bmp psd, eps, ai.

                    • Units are designated in accordance with the International System of Units (SI).

                    • Literature sources used are numbered according to the order in which they are cited in the text. The text is indicated in brackets [] by the number of the source used. The sources used after the article indicate the authors of the material,  title, the publishing house and the city where it is located as well as  the year of publication.


                    • The submitted articles are reviewed by the Editorial Board and the approved ones are assigned to other  reviewers in the field covered by the specific article.
                    • All reviewers hold scientific titles and degrees. The authors of the texts are in a form of  independence from the reviewers. The reviewer cannot be the scientific leader of the author of the text and belongs to a different administrative unit.
                    • Scientific articles are published after a positive result of anonymous and independent review.
                    • The name of the reviewer is published at the end of the article, provided that he / she has stated this in the review form.


                    • Authors who publish their scientific results bear full responsibility for their validity, authenticity and originality.
                    • The authors are solely responsible for the opinions and concepts they express in their articles.
                    • Plagiarism in all its forms is unacceptable. Authors should cite the publications used in the development and are required to comply with the citation rules indicated.
                    • Authors are required to disclose any sponsorship or financing arrangements related to their development. This is reflected at the end of the publication.
                    •  It is the responsibility of the author to obtain permission to reproduce illustrations, tables, etc. from other publications.


                • Submitting a manuscript for publication means transferring copyright from author to publisher. Accepted publications may not be republished in whole or in part without the publisher’s written consent.

                • Authors of print-approved articles and information accept stylistic corrections and abbreviations that do not alter the meaning of the text.

                • Each author is entitled to two paper copies of the magazine for free.
