THEORETICAL CALCULATIONS OF TECHNOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OF THE ACTION OF ACID AND NON-ACIDIC WORKING SOLUTIONS ON THE WRINKLE ZONE OF THE PLATE

THEORETICAL CALCULATIONS OF TECHNOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OF THE ACTION OF ACID AND NON-ACIDIC WORKING SOLUTIONS ON THE WRINKLE ZONE OF THE PLATE
Karibaev Askar Amirkhanovich, 9999012@mail.ru
Doctoral student of the Mining and Geological University “St. Ivan Rilski “, Sofia

ABSTRACT
The purpose of the article is to theoretically study the process of exposure of acidic and non-acidic working solutions to the bottomhole formation zone. Theoretical calculations and graphical dependences are presented that allow determining and estimating the penetration depths and changes in the heating temperature of the fluid injected into the formation at a constant injection rate. The wave nature of changes in the concentration of a substance during filtration and mass transfer of flushing fluid in permeable formations has been established and studied. The results were summarized in tables, where the calculated values of the processing time of the PPP and the length of the propagation zone of the saturation front are presented. Analysis of the research results showed that with an increase in temperature, the processing time of the near-wellbore zone decreases depending on its length, especially if the length of the treatment zone is quite large.

INNOVATIONS AND INNOVATION ACTIVITY OF THE COMPANIES FROM THE EXTRACTIVE SECTOR OF THE BULGARIAN ECONOMY
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitar Blagoev, e-mail: blagoev@unwe.bg
Industrial Business Department, Business Faculty, University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria

ABSTRACT
We will not make a mistake if we say that innovation is one of the cornerstones for achieving competitiveness and a key factor for a sustainable competitive advantage of companies. Particularly relevant is their importance in recent decades, with the development of information and communication technologies, the Internet of things and other modern technologies. The implementation of modern technologies in the so-called “traditional sectors” of the national economy, as the extractive industries is key to modernising its processes and achieving a higher level of efficiency. The main purpose of the article is to trace the innovation activity of the companies in the extractive sector of the Bulgarian economy in comparison with the innovation activity in total for the economy and the perceived for the most innovative-startup companies.

ABSTRACT
This publication describes the development of an enterprise GIS portal and web-application, allowing user upload of borders of planned exploration areas (in various GIS formats) and analysis of conflict zones with existing sanitary-protective zones. All services are created with ESRI Enterprise 10.7.1. (Server, Portal, Datastore, Pro and Web AppBuilder), licensed for education and research in University of Mining and Geology “St. Ivan Rilski”. All data is acquired according the Access to Public Information Act. The web-application provides a convenient and interactive access to data for a wide range of users in the raw material industry, including mining companies, government institutions and researchers.

GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE – THE LESSONS FROM THE GEOLOGICAL HISTORY OF EARTH AND MODERN REALITIES

Issue  6/2019

Summary

The author deals with the problem of contemporary climate change in terms of paleoclimatology. The main factors and the complex relationships between them that affect the climate are examined. The author also looks at “global warming”, emphasizing that the suggestion that we can stop the current trend toward a slight rise in Earth’s temperatures is naive.

RESULTS OF THE RADIOMETRIC RESEARCH IN THE AREA OF OBUKHOVO-SESLAV URANE ORE

5/2019

Summary

The Bukhovo-Seslav uranium ore field is located in the central part of the Balkan Mountains. The first uranium minerals (otunite, torurnite) have been known since 1925. They have been identified by geologists at Sofia University via samples supplied by Bukhov resident Stoinev, taken from a quarry located on the southeast slope of Goten Peak. Until 1940, the exploration and extraction of uranium was carried out by German companies. Systematic prospecting and extraction works during the period 1946-1958 were carried out by a mixed Soviet-Bulgarian Mining Enterprise (SBGS), and after 1958 to 1992 by the State Fund for Rare Metals. Significant volumes of medium- and large-scale geological and geophysical mapping, drilling and mining exploration have been conducted. Detailed mineralogical-petrographic and chemical-technological investigations have been carried out. In the 1970s and 1980s, particular attention was paid to the material composition of uranium ores. Industry-proven technologies have been developed to extract a number of associated elements (Pb, Zn, Cu, Au, Th, etc.) from complex ore deposits.

Prof. eng. Ivan Bedrinov has fully connected his work experience and scientific interests with the problems of radiogeological science and practice in Bulgaria. He began work in 1951 as a geophysicist. He continues  as a geological engineer and head of prospecting and exploration units in the Central Rhodope ore area. He is also the leader of a number of thematic research groups within the Rare Metals system. The main topic of his research is uranium-containing and uranium-accompanying colored, earth mineralization and minerals in the Central Rhodope ore region. Most of the authors’ and co-authors’ works, in the form of annual and stage reports, have been published in the Rare Metals GeoFund. Over one hundred articles and reports on original scientific topics have been published in Bulgarian and foreign journals. In 2007, he was elected a full member of the International Academy of Environmental Sciences and Safety in Russia.

PRECIOUS AND DECORATIVE MINERALS IN THE RHODOPES MOUNTAINS

Isuue 5/2019

Summary

The article deals with the basic construction of the Rhodope Rock Complex, together with the basic mineralogical and geochemical processes. The author focuses mainly on the decorative and colored minerals in the different regions of the mountain. The article describes in  detail the precious minerals aquamarine, emerald, heliodor, along with  epidotes, agates, jasper. Mentioned are the major lead-zinc ore minerals – galenith, sphalerite, chalcopyrite, as well as widespread calcite.
